Google just published a video explaining some of the features of going through your search query data in Google webmaster tools, aside from the video which you can watch here they also did a follow up post on their official blog mentioning some of the main points when dealing with search query data.

Google has finished their pilot beta of search queries in Google Analytics and has now officially showing search query data in Google Analytics[1] for public. The changes made to Google Analytics can be seen only if you have both Webmaster tools and Google Analytics verified, and they are:

Queries – including impressions, CTR, position as well as clicks for the best 1,000 queries each day

Landing Pages – the same as for queries

Geographical Summary – which include impressions, click as well as CTR by region and country

Since this is Google Analytics we can now see all the data in a different light using advanced filters and other Analytics features that will help us come up with a better analysis.

Google is keeping busy as always, but in the last few days they have rolled out some major changes. They introduced rel=author markup as well as connection with your Google profiles, they have started Google+ project, which is still by invitation only, they started to change their design and will change it even more over the next few weeks, and starting last night we can even see +1 metrics in Google Webmaster tools.
