After a long number of years GWT has confused webmasters with their ideas of internal and external links which we could take a glimpse on via two categories; links from within your site and links coming from other sites. This was confusing for most, especially since GWT didn’t do quite a good job of separating our real internal links from external.

Google +1 button is definitely winning over most of the bloggers and webmasters. It’s the new Like or Tweet button with one exception, it comes from the search engine we rely on for the greatest amount of out traffic, so we have to love it, incorporate it and use it.

Google is on a quest to make our search much easier and faster by providing us with the right results and also giving us a heads up with the things we might actually need that are related to our search.
