Parameter Update in Google Webmaster Tools
In a recent update of Google webmaster tools URL parameters have been moved to their own section under “Site Configuration”. The new layout features the Parameter, URLs monitored, Last configured, Effect on content and What Googlebot should crawl headings. Webmasters are able to Edit and Reset the settings as well as add new parameters. All parameter settings are downloadable.
Google warns that this feature is to be used by experienced users as it could potentially result in unwanted removal of a large number of pages from their index.

This is a very useful and timely update which many webmasters can take advantage of – especially if they have been affected by recent algorithm changes or fall in the category of potential targets.
