Limit of 301 Redirects

In a video session Matt Cutts explains an issue of 301 redirection (permanent redirects) and talks about limits of use and how many redirects can be chained together.

Summary

There is no limit to a number of redirects from one site to another.
Multi-hop redirects (chained 301′s) will be followed but after 4 or 5 it might not (chance is close to 0).
