Guest Lecture at Griffith University

The audience showed genuine interest in the subject. Overall, it was a very rewarding experience and I hope to present to this, or similar group again. Dan PetrovicThis week Dan Petrovic spoke as a guest lecturer to post-graduate students at Griffith University. The topics discussed ranged from research to strategy execution for SEO and ended with practical tips and examples. During the lecture students had the opportunity to see how the search engine optimisation process flows in a professional environment. Dan also performed live website examination and evaluation of SEO practices on a selected website. The most interesting part took place after the lecture during the interactive Q&A session where most questions went beyond SEO and covered PPC, usability, e-Commerce, conversion optimisation and alternative search engines (e.g. Baidu, Yandex) . After the lecture, students had a chance to speak to Dan personally and go over any remaining questions and issues specific to their interests.
