Instant Previews in Google Webmaster Tools

Google Webmaster Tools has introduced a new experimental (Google Labs) feature in their interface. Webmasters can now check out their SERP previews and understand how their pages will be seen with confidence. The tool not only gives visual overview but also points out any any elements of the page Google had troubles with (css, js, images, flash…etc).

Google also states that the preview does not currently factor in Flash and warns about dramatic differences which could trigger a penalty if cloaking is suspected. This statement is a solid sign that they are about to start visually analysing page content in order to get additional clues about its content, quality and detect cheats.
