Google+ Sign-in Goes Live

Along with Gmail, Twitter and Facebook options for sign-in Google released a new way that is said to be more secure, spam free and seeing that Google is the leader in App space, a soon to be most frequently used form of social sign-in.
The new application sign-in is described as:
“Google+ Sign-In is a simple, trusted way to let people sign in with their Google credentials and build even more engaging experiences across desktop and mobile.”
Sounds promising, what sets it apart from Facebook? First thing that is definitely different is security. There is a two step confirmation process unlike Facebook, makes me feel secure already.
What next, well, there is the desktop-mobile compatibility, so anything you do on mobile or vice versa is synced to the other device. Overall, google’s blog post states there is better sharing involved, although I do get where they are coming from and I love Google+ for having circles, I just can’t think of it as an objective addition to the field, it depends on the user.
