Google Analytics Now Supports Search Query Data from Webmaster Tools

Google has finished their pilot beta of search queries in Google Analytics and has now officially showing search query data in Google Analytics[1] for public. The changes made to Google Analytics can be seen only if you have both Webmaster tools and Google Analytics verified, and they are:

Queries – including impressions, CTR, position as well as clicks for the best 1,000 queries each day

Landing Pages – the same as for queries

Geographical Summary – which include impressions, click as well as CTR by region and country

Analytics Webmaster Tools

Analytics Webmaster Tools

Since this is Google Analytics we can now see all the data in a different light using advanced filters and other Analytics features that will help us come up with a better analysis. To find out more visit your Google Analytics or you can learn more about search queries and search queries data.

  1. “position as well as clicks for the best 1,000 queries each day ” -it took me nearly a year since it was launched to read your post and discover new powerfull way to see not only GA data- i.e. who comes to my www and how, but who I can make to come if I rank better for certain queries.
