Here’s one simple example why drawing conclusions from correlated data can be misleading:

As you can see we found patterns in search behaviour of Australian Google users and from the above we can conclude that “SEO” is highly correlated with “mi goreng” and “rissoles recipe”.

It must be true because the data doesn’t lie, right?
