First Google Webmaster Tools Update in 2014

Cyrus Shepard (via Thomas Høgenhaven) has just reported an exciting update in Google Webmaster Tools. When you log in and navigate over to “Search Queries” you’ll see a timeline annotation saying: “An improvement to our top search queries data was applied retroactively on 12/31/13″:

Feature Request for Google Places Reviews

Google’s current way of detecting fake customer reviews is far from perfect. Thanks to Mike Blumenthal some of my own falsely suspended reviews were brought to attention of Jade Wang from Google. I haven’t had any direct answer as to why they are still suspended but am glad they’re aware of the issue.
