According to Matt Cutts tweet Google has laid a massive link network hit. It just goes to show that what Matt talked about in his video recently is not to be taken lightly. If you weren’t sure when Google will start rolling up these updates, this is the last alert you will get, as they have started working on what Matt promised that we will see in the future.

 

New Improvements to Google Places for Business

We are used to seeing Google making new improvements to their services all the time, so it is of no surprise that Google Places for Business will soon get a new look and feel as stated in the Google announcement post.

 

Site Move Tool – New Addition to Bing WMT

 

Bing WMT just launched a Site Move Tool that will help you tell Bing when your site has move or when you move one or more URLs to a new address.

The tool can be found in your Bing WMT account under Diagnostics and Tools.

 

Panda Update Integration into Search Algorithm

As reported by Search Engine Land, Panda update, which is a manual update, will soon be integrated into Google’s search algorithm. Their source is Matt Cutts, and this was stated at SMX West conference.

What this means is that Panda which was a manual update will no longer be pushed in sequences when Google sees fit, but will be a part of Google search algorithm and as well one of the rankings factors, and one of the most important ones.
